Intergraph's Engineering Modeling System (I/EMS) integrates wireframe,surface, and solid modeling capabilities with complete draftingfunctionality. I/EMS provides variational geometry capabilities allowingusers to create designs dependent upon easily understood designconstraints. Solid and surface models that are fully associative toconstrained profiles allow users to capture design intent. Engineeringdrawings may be derived from solid models and fully detailed withinI/EMS. Users can edit drawing dimensions to update solid models or editthe solid model to update drawings.I/EMS provides users with a powerful, user-definable graphical userinterface. Powerful macrocommands and an embedded programming languageallow repetitive tasks and batch processing. Design tasks are simplifiedthrough the use of libraries for user-defined features. I/EMS supportsthe analysis of geometric properties, mas properties, interferences, andtolerances.
